Hyderabad House Indian Restaurant

Close to where I live, I was looking for samosas. They had veggie samosas with the mint sauce that were really really good. A little spice but not too much. Also tried these chicken puff pastry things that were awesome. A cross between a puff pastry dough and a Jamaican patty, I was really surprised how much I liked it. I got the carrot dessert that had raisins and cashews from the refrigerated case. It didn't look like there was a lot there but it's so rich, it actually lasted me for leftovers. Excellent service, very attentive. Nothing fancy but just a good experience. Hit the Mark.

We've ordered takeout from here and waited around 20 minutes. The food was superb. I've been here multiple times already, and the quality of the food has significantly improved, making it one of the top restaurants. Their biryani is never dry, and they've introduced excellent dishes with Tamil Nadu flavors. However, their posted hours do not accurately reflect their actual operating hours.

There grilled chicken and naan is on point. Oh my God, some of the best food I've tasted in a while. Be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. The seating is limited and they try to do a good job. For some reason this restaurant does not have heat. We went there a few times and every time the waiters would turn on the space heaters. Help me understand why in the grocery store/restaurant doesn't have heat and charges almost $100.

The best Indian restaurant. Their biryani's are amazing. I love all their food. The location is peefect as it is with an Indian grocery store so I can come eat and shop.

How this place does not have a perfect five star rating is beyond me. I was just thinking about what I was going to have for lunch today, and am bummed I am not in the office to walk over here. The biryani at Hyderabad House is by far the best I've had out of the many establishments here in Columbus. Hands down. The garlic naan here is also my favorite. I have not strayed too far from the biryanis thus far, but my paneer tikka masala was also fantastic. When you first walk in and head to the restaurant area, you're always greeted warmly. The ambiance may not be everybody's cup of tea, as it is inside of an Indian supermarket, but to me this adds to the authenticity of the place and is still plenty relaxing for a nice meal. Service has always been fantastic and professional when I'm there for a work lunch. After having now visited multiple times, I felt compelled to leave a five star review. Keep up the fantastic work and I can't wait to visit again soon!

Authentic. Tasty. Priced fairly. No frills, and none needed. Adjoined with a grocery store.

Stumbled on this and really enjoyed it. Attached to the market, enter through there. Not much atmosphere to speak of, but nice enough. Service was great. Weekday special is endless thali. I had to look that up- it's a platter with eight or ten items. I chose goat biryani as my main, and there was a big bowl of excellence in the middle. Bone-in, of course. Tender tasty lamb, perfect rice. A little heat. There were a couple of big slabs of roti; I would have liked even more. Chicken tikka, plus other dishes I didn't quite recognize, some with meat, some veggie, a couple of condiments. Plus some little crisps scattered around that I also used to dip into sauces. Everything was good. Half of them were spicy but not overly so. Such a good blend of flavors and textures. I guess you can get refills but I was stuffed, for about $12 for the dish. Drinks are in coolers; juices, Coke, Indian pops. I chose Thums Up since I'd had it and liked it before. An Indian cola.
